Colette Katsikas is the owner and proprietress of essentials. After working for the store for sixteen years, she purchased it in October of 2012 and has been running things ever since. A Hampshire graduate in the film studies program, Colette boasts a crafty DIY aesthetic and enjoys non-traditional paradigms of all kinds. She's best known for her riot-grrl feminist values, and of course, her luxurious head of red hair, which you can spot from literally anywhere in downtown Northampton.
